Trencher: How should it end?

When you put a story out there for people to read, it no longer belongs to you.

To that end, I'd like to ask the 3 or 4 people who are reading the story, (which includes me) how they'd like it to end.

caveat: voting in no way ensures that I will act on the poll results. I may be using them to employ the age-old tactic of 'Author-cuntitude' or (fan-cruelty).

I've posted the poll gadget on the right hand side of the fairly underpopulated followers gadget.

If enough people are interested, then I'll go one step further and find out who their favourite character is.
