Axis robots winter camo: Painting like a mofo part III

Just some photos of the drybrushing stage after the smoke wash was allowed to settle:

Here they are with additional weathering:




















The weathering was a simple case of tearing up the foam from a blister pack and using it like a drybrush to apply GW scorched brown to the feet and lower thighs of the model. Muzzle flash was applied to the weapons using the same method, but with an additional application of Vallejo model colour black, (which I find has a cleaner matt finish than GW chaos black).

The allied walkers are already finished, save for some small details like lights and ammo hoppers. Pics of those will follow once I can be arsed taking some.

I'll probably just bring the core set. Only Joe Brown, Battle Grenadiers and Gunners to finish and they'll probably be done by tonight.
